Quantum Computer - 1600x1200

I read about quantum computers once, a few years back, in one of my sci/tech books. if I remember right, the concept of a quantum computer is that it uses the electrons in its individual atoms the way computers today use transistors: switches to perform calculations. The theory behind a quantum computer is that electrons can supposedly orbit an atom in two opposite directions at the same time, thus enabling the computer to perform multiple operations simultaneously with the same atom & electron.

I don't get it either.

Anyway, the idea of the quantum computer inspired me to make this atomically awesome wallpaper. The "nucleus" in the center is binary (duh,) the orbiting rings are random strings of text, and the outer bits of math & code are snippets of actual C++ programming code. I think. It's been a while since I programmed in C++... I've probably forgotten some syntax rules. Ah well.

Apologies for the comparitively massive filesize (almost 400 KB); I shrunk it as much as I could without serious quality loss.
