There is so much pain nowadays, all around.
Everywhere I turn, I see sadness.
Anger.
Hurt.

Why?

Why are we hurting so?

There is no need for it.

I get hurt as much as anyone.
But am I in pain?
Am I sad?
Angry?

No.

I am happy.

I get sad, but I get happy again. It's the way of life.
It's the balance of nature.

Things go down, things go up.

But now, there is so much around us.
So much information.
So much negativity.
Constant exposure to sadness.
It keeps pulling us down,
and we are given no chance to get back up.

But it can't control us.

Here's a little excerpt from my next-gen slang dictionary:

Emotify (e-MOH-tih-fie) v: To represent a person or thing in the style of an Emoticon. Also Emotified, Emotifying, Emotification, etc.

SO, now you know. Sonic the Hedgehog has now officially been emotified by yours truly. And what better place to do it than the original, the classic, Green Hill Zone.

Made entirely in the GIMP, including the background, which is just my memory's version of Green Hill Zone. Palm trees, sunflowers, good times. ^_^ Yaay sonic!

I used to have a more elaborate one in my gallery, but it ended up getting out of hand; it accounted for roughly 40% of all faves in my entire gallery, and although it was good, I didn't want the main reason people remembered me to be a simple fan work.
